Houston's largest control room

Urbana Recording Studio was built in 1994 for Latin artist La Mafia. The studio opened as Houston Sound Studio and was later renamed Urbana Recording Studio after the launch of La Mafia's label , Urbana Records. The studio boasts the largest control room in Houston. Also the studio while being a state of the art digital studio it still can accommodate a full analog session when needed with the only Studer A820 24 track with Dolby SR machine in town. The studio has hosted some of the greatest artists of all genres.
